Newark Education Funder Affinity Group: Learning Acceleration

Join our fall Newark Education Funder Affinity Group meeting for a discussion on learning acceleration. A growing body of research shows that the most effective way to catch students up from COVID-19 related learning losses is not to offer remediation, but rather accelerate their exposure to grade-level work. At this meeting, we will hear from the author of TNTP’s Learning Acceleration Guide, a national resource document for acceleration, and local practitioners from Newark Public Schools and the charter sector to discuss acceleration in action in Newark.
