Asset Funders Network (AFN-NJ) is committed to advancing knowledge and strengthening the systems that help families preserve homeownership and generational wealth. As part of this commitment, AFN is pleased to invite you to an online meeting to release the third and fourth briefs in our series on heirs’ property in New Jersey.

Hear more about AFN’s heirs’ property prevalence study in Camden County and a municipal policy analysis focused on Newark and Trenton. We will also discuss two statewide papers—a policy analysis and a social return on investment analysis —which provide additional context for the new briefs and will lead to a discussion of next steps.

Speakers:
Qawi Austin, Community Foundation of South Jersey
Maryann Flanigan Sutherland, Legal Services of New Jersey
Ruth Gao, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
Damon King, New Jersey Institute for Social Justice
Erin K. Rothman, Project Guardian

Cost: Free for CNJG Members and non members

This meeting is open to philanthropic foundations, financial institutions, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), credit unions, United Ways, public sector funders, and invited community partners. Specific focus on the New Jersey Region. CNJG is helping promote this event to our membership about this important study.

Asset Funders Network is hosting the meeting and the registration process. For any questions about registering, please contact Paula Dworek at [email protected].
