CNJG has long been committed to helping our members diversify the make-up of their boards. That’s why we initiated the Board Bank project in partnership with the American Conference on Diversity. The Board Bank seeks to capture and build a network of professionals, business and community leaders from underrepresented ethnic and racial groups. CNJG’s role is to encourage grantmakers to utilize the service when seeking candidates for their boards of directors. We’ve been supported in this work by the Albin Family Foundation, the Community Foundation of New Jersey, the Eastman Foundation, the Fund for New Jersey, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Victoria Foundation.
