Louis Porta, CFA is a Managing Director and Market Investment Director with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. He has extensive experience managing portfolios for institutional clients, and high net worth individuals. In conjunction with managing assets for Private Banking clients, he oversees the asset management responsibilities for an investment team in New York City, which include six additional Portfolio Managers, four analysts and two assistants.
Prior to his joining U.S. Trust in 2001, Louis served as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan Private Asset Management Group for five years. He holds a BBA degree from Pace University in 1993. Subsequently he earned his M.B.A. from Fordham University in 1997. In addition, Louis holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP)® designation, and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA)® and CIMA® designations.
